| One of my favorite places to refresh my body, soul, and stomach is the Snappy Lunch. Nestled in the foothills town of Mount Airy, this local diner is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. The pork chop sandwich is truly world famous. While some like to load it up "Carolina Style" with chili, slaw, and onions, I prefer mine with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise.
